OUR LOCATION: BALANGAN BEACH
Though we surf in many locations, we base our teaching at Balangan Beach in Bali’s southern peninsula, also known as ‘The Bukit’. This reef break offers gentle green waves for beginners taking their first surf lessons in Bali. It also boasts large and consistent left hand barrels for experienced surfers further up the beach. It is regarded as one of the best waves in Bali with a beautiful backdrop and beach welcoming tourists looking to relax and play.
Our surf school’s central location is nestled between a cluster of great surfing spots with unique character. Amongst them include; Dreamland, Bingin, Jimbaran, Padang-Padang and infamous Uluwatu beaches. This ensures we can easily accommodate surfers of all levels and take advantage of the day-to-day conditions.

Bali has a huge variety of surfing destinations making it a perfect place to take your first surf lessons with gentle friendly waves in beach break and reef break settings. Our selection of locations are assessed each day by ocean conditions and student capability to ensure safety is paramount. Our professional and accredited instructors understand every locations character and are experienced in customer safety.
EQUIPMENT
We provide all quality equipment including friendly beginner boards, leg rope, reef boots, rash vests and face wax sun cream. We also cater for all abilities with Intermediate and advance boards available in all shapes and sizes.

Dawn Patrol Bali Surf School at Balangan Beach, Bali offers high-quality surf photography, video (and surf film packages on request) to capture your surfing experience. Simultaneously we utilise the content to help analyze and advise you on on how to improve your surfing technique.
